Lennox T
Lennox Tom (Lennox T) originally from the Transkei, now living in Khayeltisha township near Cape Town. He is a co - founder of our record label which started in the Cape Town townships 30 years ago (1996). Lennox along with co-founder Barney Rattle recorded multiple artists and started numerous Township projects some of which are still active today. Lennox T has many songs which are featuresd throughout this collection of music. Lennox is about to release a new 7 track EP featuring 4 new songs and 3 videos.
Fanisi Band
An, AFRO FUSION, Kenyan coastal music group and is best known as Dzagosha classic specialising in Banga.
Featured on Kaya FM, Bahari FM, Citizen TV, Kbc TV and K24 TV. After a successful Ongea Music Festival we went on the perform at the Gala music Festival and Alliance francaisce. Also perfoming at venues around Malindi and Kilifi County and more recently at Beneath The Baobabs showcase and recording at Baobabs Studio.
Fanisi band has collaborated and performed with Haddinqo from (Moseb cultural Band) ,Octopizzo, Mambotribe, Culturesafari, Sengenya ya Mwatela. Fanisi are about to release thier first studio album, featuring 6 wonderful Afro Fusion tracks .

Don Laka
Grammy nominated, multi platinum selling artist, Don Laka is an icon of South African Jazz. He made his first recording in 1972 and went onto record 17 more albums with his latest being AFRO CHOPIN which fuses Chopin melodies with his famous Kwaai Jazz Style. Don is also an activist in his own right and leads many musicians in the pursuit of justice across the airwaves in South Africa and beyond. In 2015 we released Afro Chopin and toured the Uk. This year see's the release of "The Essential Don Laka" with Sony Music. In 2023 we toured the UK.
Abavuki
ABAVUKI are a powerful African Jazz group from Langa, Cape Town who have been playing their infectious afro-beat marimba grooves since 2001. The eight members in the group, all multi-instrumentalists, are influenced by kwaito, samba, jazz and traditional rhythms, which they translate within a modern format, using marimbas, percussion and brass instruments. Their vibrant music is testimony to the resilience of South Africans and the redemption the country has found in music in its path to reconciliation. We have made numerous recordings together including a MOTown tribute album in 2008 called Africa Got Soul which was featured on BBC4 by Midge Ure and is still available on all platforms.

The Bloodlines
Reggae Group, The Bloodlines, Inspired by Bob Marley, have been performing in and around Cape Town for over 20 years. Back in the early days we recorded two albums including multiple dub versions the the best of which are featured on this unique album of Roots Reggae from Africa. Bloodlines originally formed by a group of South African musicians, lives on through Ras Kevin Levi (Kevin Waterboer) who has just finished a new solo album of which we are featuring a video called 'Lion In The Jungle'.
Luke Parker & Jali Hammay
Luke Parker is a member of the group Vogue Gyratory. He also spent time in West Africa where he recorded some vocal and Kora tracks with Jali Hammay, a griot from Gambia. A selection of those songs are represented in our Storybook Series include recordings of Vogue Gyratory, one of which features the vocals of Jali Hammay. Luke presently lives in New Zealand where he continues working with local musicians (plus Botswanan singer/song-writer Ras Judah) and spreading his positive message through music, teaching in all forms of musical disciplines. Vogue Gyratory is available on all digital stores.
